Randy Cohen es escritor y humorista. Actualmente presenta Person Place Thing en la emisora de radio pública WAMC.
Cohen escribió anteriormente la columna "The Ethicist" para The New York Times Magazine entre 1999 y 2011. También respondió a las preguntas de los oyentes sobre ética en el programa All Things Considered de NPR de 2001 a 2005.
Cohen también fue guionista de The Late Show with David Letterman durante siete años, y participó en tres Primetime Emmys a la mejor redacción. Además, fue el primer guionista jefe de The Rosie O'Donnell Show.
